The Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable is responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely billing, collection of outstanding balances, accurate posting of receipts, and adherence to company policies and internal controls. The role supports cash flow optimization while maintaining strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, and internal departments.
What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Manager
-
Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Oversee daily accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, billing, credit card reconciliation, and receipt posting
-
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances to ensure prompt collection
-
Review and approve credit limits in coordination with management
-
Liaise with sales, front office, and reservations to resolve billing discrepancies
-
Ensure and be responsible for the accuracy and propriety of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly recorded in the books on a timely basis.

Ensure that all balance sheet and credit card transactions are accounted for, documented, and properly reconciled.

Ensure the month-end closing process is completed and the timely preparation of all required financial reports for review by the Director of Finance.

Prepare AR aging, collection status, and revenue-related reports for management
-
Assist during internal and external audits related to receivables and revenue
-
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all AR transactions
-
Adjust daily credit card payments to PMS and POS machines to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.

Support training and development of AR team members
What are we looking for?

An Assistant Manager
-
Accounts Receivable serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
-
University Degree, preferably in Commerce, Accounting & Management or any other Accounting qualification.
-
Finance / Accounting major and certified, e.g. ACCA/ CPA.
-
3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or finance, preferably in the hospitality industry
-
Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
-
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and revenue accounting
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
-
Experience with hotel PMS/finance systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, Sun Systems, or similar) is preferred
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
-
Effective communication and negotiation skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
High level of integrity and confidentiality
-
Flexible in relation to working hours, especially at month and year-end.
