Be Part of What’s Next

Bring a Trailer is where passion for cars meets storytelling and community. As a Production Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how standout vehicles are presented to an engaged global audience—guiding sellers from submission to a successful auction experience.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

Hearst Magazines’ portfolio of more than 30 powerful brands in the U.S. reaches more than 165 million people every month across print, digital, video, and social platforms. The company’s diverse portfolio includes many of the world’s most iconic and trusted media brands, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, Popular Mechanics, and Runner’s World, as well as enthusiast titles like Car and Driver and Road & Track.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Prepare auction listings by organizing seller-submitted data and photos in accordance with Bring a Trailer standards
  • Coordinate with sellers and internal teams to incorporate updates and ensure listing accuracy and completeness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers during the pre-auction phase, delivering timely and professional communication
  • Provide high-quality customer support by answering questions, offering guidance, and addressing concerns with empathy
  • Manage and prioritize a high-volume pipeline of listings at various stages to meet daily production goals
  • Track listings through internal systems and act as the subject matter expert on each listing’s history
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth transition from listing creation to auction launch
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, content production, technical writing, automotive services, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to present detailed information clearly and accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and a professional, approachable communication style
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and build trust with stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate challenges independently while knowing when to escalate
  • Interest in or knowledge of collector cars and automotive culture; hands-on automotive experience is a plus
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to support evolving team and business needs
