Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
- Translate client RFPs into strategic, insight-driven marketing proposals that drive revenue and margin growth
- Conceptualize and develop cross-platform programs including custom content, native integrations, experiential activations, and direct digital marketing campaigns
- Partner closely with sales, campaign strategy, and content studio teams to build compelling, proactive ideas that preempt the RFP process
- Leverage data, research, and audience insights to craft persuasive narratives and informed recommendations
- Ensure all proposals and executions reflect the highest standards of Hearst brand quality, creativity, and storytelling
- Manage day-to-day requests from sales and internal stakeholders with clarity, responsiveness, and strategic thinking
- Oversee project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- Experience developing marketing proposals from both a strategic and executional perspective
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, client-ready materials
- Ability to interpret RFPs, media grids, and client briefs with accuracy and insight
- Analytical and strategic thinker who uses data to inform decisions and storytelling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting ideas to senior stakeholders
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Resourceful problem-solver who takes initiative and approaches challenges with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments
- Interest in Hearst editorial brands and the Style & Design industries is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Suite
- This is a New York City-based role with a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in the office

The base salary for this role is between $76,000 - $87,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
