Job Summary

• Job Description: CaaS - Kubernetes Engineer (AKS, GKE )• Execution of large-scale Kubernetes networking migration (kubenet → Azure CNI)for 5000+ pod production clusters with minimal downtime• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking architecture, including Azure CNI(IPAM, pod IP allocation, VNet integration) and kubenet limitations• Advanced IP capacity planning and subnet sizing for high-density clustersensuring no IP exhaustion during migration• Design and implementation of migration strategy (blue-green / node pool-basedmigration) for seamless workload transition• Hands-on execution of node pool migration (cordon, drain, rescheduling) to shiftworkloads to CNI-enabled nodes• Strong expertise in Azure networking (VNet, NSG, route tables, privateendpoints) aligned for Kubernetes workloads• Troubleshooting of pod-to-pod communication, DNS resolution, service routing,and network latency issues during migration• Management of ingress controllers, load balancers, and traffic routing changesduring network transition• Handling stateful workload migration with persistent volumes and storagereattachment across node pools• Implementation of monitoring and observability for cluster health, pod status,network metrics, and performance tracking• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, IaC) to orchestrate migrationand reduce manual intervention• Implementation of rollback and failover strategies ensuring safe recovery duringproduction migration• Configuration and management of Kubernetes RBAC, namespaces, and workloadisolation during migration• Execution of Kubernetes operations including cluster upgrades, node scaling, andpatching, Nodepool Migrations.
• Kubernetes cluster support including workload deployments, troubleshooting podfailures, and performance tuning

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure On-Time Resolution And Quality Compliance Of Escalated Incidents By Utilizing Iac And Terraform Within Azure Environments, Adhering To Agreed Service Level Agreements (Slas).

2. Mentor Team Members And Administrators In Best Practices For Azure Iaas, Paas, And Kubernetes, While Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (Sops) And Maintaining Comprehensive Documentation For Operational Processes.

3. Validate Change Order Implementation Plans And Ensure Human Error Compliance By Applying Best Practices In Terraform Configurations And Azure Infrastructure Management.

4. Actively Engage In Customer Meetings To Address Concerns And Gather Feedback, Leveraging Knowledge Of Azure Services To Enhance Customer Satisfaction.

5. Conduct Root Cause Analysis And Trend Analysis To Validate Findings And Provide Insights Through Reports, Facilitating Informed Decision-Making For Key Business Stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Infrastructure As Code (Iac) Principles And Hands-On Experience With Terraform.

2. Proficient In Azure Services Including Iaas, Paas, And Kubernetes.

3. Excellent Analytical Skills With The Ability To Perform Root Cause And Trend Analyses.

4. Effective Communication And Presentation Skills To Liaise With Business Stakeholders.

5. Familiarity With Itil Or Similar Frameworks For Incident Management And Service Delivery.

Other Requirements

1. Certification In Azure Solutions Architect Or Terraform Associate Is Optional But Valuable.
