Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced o9 Supply Planning Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize supply planning solutions on the o9 platform. The candidate should have hands-on experience in supply planning processes, solver configuration, and end-to-end implementation.

--- Key Responsibilities🔹 Functional Responsibilities

• Design and implement Supply Planning solutions using the o9 platform

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional design documents

• Configure supply planning processes such as ,Supply Network Planning (SNP),Production Planning,Distribution Planning,Inventory Optimization,Capacity Planning

• Define and optimize supply strategies, including sourcing, allocation, and prioritization

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align with S&OP / IBP processes

• Validate supply plans against business constraints and objectives

• Support UAT and business validation cycles

• Strong understanding of Supply Planning concepts,Supply Network Design,Inventory and capacity management and Multi-echelon supply chain planning

• Experience with Demand-Supply matching,Allocation and prioritization logic and Supply constraints and bottleneck handling

--- 🔹 Technical Responsibilities

• Configure and customize o9 using IBPL (Integrated Business Planning Language),Procedures and action buttons,Supply planning data models and master data

• Work on Solver configuration and tuning, including Constraints (capacity, material, lead time),Objective functions,Netting logic and prioritization

• Develop and maintain

• Planning workflows and automation,Alerts and exception management

• Integrate with source systems (SAP, ERP, etc.) for supply data

• Troubleshoot issues related to Solver outputs,Supply inconsistencies and Master data and integration

• Hands-on experience in o9 Supply Planning module,IBPL coding and debugging and Solver configuration and performance tuning

• Familiarity with: SQL / Python (preferred) and SAP (MM, APO/IBP) or other ERP systems

• Strong understanding of Data models, measures, and hierarchies in o9

--- 🔹 Implementation & Delivery

• Participate in end-to-end implementation lifecycle (Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Hypercare)

• Perform data validation and reconciliation between systems

• Optimize solution performance for scalability and efficiency

• Provide production support and continuous improvements

• Document processes, configurations, and solution design

Key Responsibilities

2. To perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions - 3. To work with the team in implementing the solutions

3. To develop good practice and Serve as a subject matter expert

4. To design and structure reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience - 6. To develop knowledge base by staying updated on industry best practices ,emerging trends and creating re-usable components.
