Job Description : Job Description\\r\\n Software Engineer – Java Developer (Linux)\\r\\n Job Summary\\r\\n We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer – Java Developer with strong experience in Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications and services. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Java development along with strong Linux system knowledge for deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\n Key Responsibilities\\r\\n• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.\\r\\n• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Java and related frameworks.\\r\\n• Deploy and manage applications in Linux environments.\\r\\n• Troubleshoot application and system issues in Linux servers.\\r\\n• Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration.\\r\\n• Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.\\r\\n• Optimize application performance and scalability.\\r\\n• Interact with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.\\r\\n• Create technical documentation and support production releases.\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\n Required Technical Skills\\r\\n Programming & Development\\r\\n• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 preferred)\\r\\n• Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework\\r\\n• RESTful API development\\r\\n• Microservices architecture\\r\\n• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate\\r\\n• Multithreading & concurrency concepts\\r\\n• Strong OOP concepts\\r\\n \\r\\n Linux Skills\\r\\n• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)\\r\\n• Shell scripting (Bash)\\r\\n• Process management, memory management, and system monitoring\\r\\n• Log analysis and troubleshooting using Linux commands\\r\\n• Application deployment on Linux servers\\r\\n• Experience with crontab, systemd services\\r\\n• Basic networking knowledge (ports, firewall, TCP/IP)\\r\\nDevOps & Tools\\r\\n• Git (Version Control)\\r\\n• Maven / Gradle\\r\\n• Jenkins or other CI/CD tools\\r\\n• Docker (preferred)\\r\\n• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (nice to have)\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\n Required Qualifications\\r\\n• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field\\r\\n• 2–5+ years of experience in Java development\\r\\n• Experience working in production Linux environments\\r\\n• Strong debugging and analytical skills\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\n Preferred Skills (Good to Have)\\r\\n• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)\\r\\n• Experience in containerized deployments\\r\\n• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)\\r\\n• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\n Soft Skills\\r\\n• Strong problem-solving skills\\r\\n• Good communication skills\\r\\n• Ability to work independently and in a team\\r\\n• Proactive and self-driven\\r\\n

To ensure on-time resolution of escalations/incidents through efficient analysis as per the SLA and quality norms and ensure positive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Java Developer

1. To ensure on-time resolution & quality compliance of escalated tickets/incident as per the agreed SLA
2. To perform value addition activities (such as mentoring administrators/team members, preparing SOPs, maintaining effective documentation simultaneously and Knowledge sharing.) In addition act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders as & when required.
3. To validate Change Order Implementation Plan & Human Error Compliance and participate in Capacity planning
4. To ensure positive customer feedback & satisfaction through active participation in customer meetings to understand any issues faced
5. To validate analyses (eg. Root Cause Analysis ,Trend Analysis) and reports to facilitate performance in tasks to be presented to key business stakeholders
