Solution Architect

Job Summary

• Own end to end delivery of the Lam PLM program across assessment, build, upgrade, migration, and rollout phases.
• Act as the single point of accountability between Lam stakeholders and HCLTech delivery teams for scope, schedule, and outcomes.
• Define and maintain the integrated PLM program plan, covering Teamcenter, integrations (SAP/MES/CAD), data migration, and releases.
• Establish and run program governance (weekly execution reviews, monthly steering committees, escalation management).
• Coordinate closely with solution architects and BAs to ensure technical designs align with Lam’s target PLM architecture and roadmap.
• Drive delivery execution and quality, ensuring SIT, UAT, data validation readiness, and timely business sign offs.
• Manage cross program dependencies and risks (PLM–SAP–MES alignment, upgrade vs rollout conflicts) and ensure proactive mitigation.
• Oversee resource and capacity management, including onsite/offshore coordination, onboarding, access readiness, and continuity.
• Control scope, change requests, and commercial alignment, ensuring adherence to SOW and agreed capacity / outcome models.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities (automation, DevOps efficiency, AI/analytics adoption) to deliver incremental value.

Key Responsibilities

1. To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis
2. Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture)
3. To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns
4. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies
5. To manage Non Functional Requirement adaption for the solution
6. To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base
