Sr. Technical Architect

Job Summary

Enterprise Architect with on ground experience of Solution Architecture having hand-on design/development experience. Will be responsible for enterprise‑wide architectural governance, solution architecture development and understanding of technology domains including emerging technology such as AI and COTS products.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for enterprise architecture management including business IT alignment and analysis of the application portfolio
• Lead IT transformation programs focused on optimizing the application portfolio to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency
• Find opportunities to streamline and optimize the application portfolio, reducing excess and improving application performance.
• Provide architectural guidance and governance for new solutions, services and ensure their compliance with the existing architectural landscape.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that guide the evolution of the application portfolio in line with business needs and technological advancements.
• Define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines across the organization to ensure consistency and alignment with best practices.
• Enable integration and interoperability of different applications within the enterprise.
• Implement governance frameworks that ensure compliance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Engage with key collaborators to capture requirements, provide insights, and ensure that enterprise architecture initiatives meet business needs.
• Should be able to operate in the role of a Solution Architect
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards
• Create solution architecture artifacts including technical architecture diagram, integration flows, and deployment views
• Design application, integration, and API architectures across cloud and on‑prem platforms
• Define integration patterns (REST, event‑based, messaging) ensuring interoperability between enterprise and external systems
• Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and platforms based on functional fit, cost, scalability, and long‑term maintainability
• Understanding of IT application and service portfolio management

Skill Requirements

• Over 10 years of IT experience, including design, development, and architecture.
• Proficient in enterprise architecture and IT transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Business, Application, Data, and Technology Architecture.
• Experienced in managing IT projects and resources.
• Skilled in application portfolio management tools.
• Desired certifications: TOGAF and PMP.
• Knowledgeable in full stack technology and Agile methodologies.
• Experienced with Cloud, .NET, MVC, Share Point, SQL, noSQL databases, APIs.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and Web Servers like IIS, Apache, and NGINX.
• Familiar with UI frameworks like Angular and ReactJS.
• Experienced with container technologies, DevOps, CI/CD platforms, and system infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Educational qualifications: BTech / BE / BSc in IT.
