Snowflake Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud technologies, with a focus on building efficient and reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Snowflake, Informatica, Amazon S3, Globalscape.

• Integrate Snowflake with other data sources using integrations and APIs.

• Implement and manage Snowflake objects including tables, views, stages and tasks.

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data transformation.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline failures and data related issues.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

• Document structural changes in data models and other objects.

Skill Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and its core features (Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, Stages, File Formats, Secure Data Sharing)

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in Snowflake.

• Experience handling semi-structured data such as JSON, XML using Snowflake.

• Familiarity with Python or scripting languages.

• Understanding of data integrations and APIs.

Other Requirements

• Snowflake certification such as Snow Pro Core

• Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica, enterprise-grade secure transfer tools like Globalscape.
