About the role

Job Summary

Network Architecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and highly available network architecture in Mine infrastructure. \r\n• Infrastructure Planning: Define networking standards, topology, capacity planning, and longterm technology roadmaps. \r\n• Security Integration: Integrate network security solutions including firewalls, segmentation strategies, and secure access frameworks. \r\n• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize network performance, availability, resilience, and reliability. \r\n• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend networking technologies, platforms, and vendors aligned with business and operational requirements. \r\n• Network Automation: Implement automation tools and scripts to improve network configuration, provisioning, and monitoring processes. \r\n• Documentation: Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, standards, technical documentation, and operational guidelines. \r\n• IT Strategy Alignment: Align network architecture initiatives with organizational IT strategy and digital transformation programs. \r\n• Vendor Management: Coordinate with technology vendors, service providers, and internal teams to support infrastructure implementation and upgrades. \r\n Technical Skills: \r\n• Enterprise Networking: Advanced knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, and enterprise wireless networks. \r\n• Network Design: Proven experience designing resilient, scalable, and high-availability network architectures. \r\n• Network Security: Strong understanding of network security principles, segmentation models, and secure connectivity solutions. \r\n• Cloud Networking: basic Knowledge of networking architectures in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. \r\n• Routing and Switching: Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. \r\n• Monitoring & Observability: Experience with network monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting tools. \r\n• Automation: Knowledge of network automation using Python, scripting tools, or network automation platforms. \r\n• Certifications: Minimum Cisco CCNP or equivalent Cisco Networking certifications. \r\n• Security certification: Minimum Fortinet NSE4. \r\n• Language: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency \r\n \r\n Soft Skills: \r\n• Communication: Ability to present complex technical architectures to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. \r\n• Leadership: Ability to guide engineering teams in the implementation of network architectures. \r\n• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting large-scale network environments. \r\n• Strategic Thinking: Ability to design long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business needs. \r\n\r\n

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee LAN/WAN network operations by leveraging advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Solar Winds, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
2. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents using packet analyzers like Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime and service impact.
3. Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols utilizing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and network access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
4. Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in network operations through automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
5. Mentor and empower network support teams by sharing expert knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies, ensuring skill development, transparent communication, and alignment with project goals.
6. Engage with clients to understand evolving network requirements, translating business needs into actionable network solutions while ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality benchmarks.
7. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, operational reports, and performance dashboards to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
