About the role

Job Summary

Key Function: To develop and deliver communications to various stakeholder groups that clearly and effectively convey the information necessary to transition to new processes, roles, and technology.

Key Objectives:

§ To deliver key messages in a clear, relevant, meaningful, timely manner, using interactive events and written materials and documentation, that are tailored to various stakeholder groups § To assist with developing and implementing change management communication plans and tasks, authoring and reviewing planned communications, and evaluating communication effectiveness § To assess stakeholders and their needs, key communication channels, and business culture to craft messages that effectively reach and inform impacted groups

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge/Experience Required (Essential/Desirable):

§ Experience supporting change management for ERP or technology-enabled business transformation programs – from design through to implementation and review § Ability to develop and deliver program communications to impacted employees across an organization § Proven experience with communications strategy development, role definition, process design, stakeholder management, and benefits case design § Outstanding consulting and analytical skills § A minimum of 5 years internal or external business consulting experience § The ability to work at all levels within organizations § SAP experience strongly desired

§ HCL Core Skills: § Superior writing and verbal skills § Can deliver presentations in a competent and convincing manner § Experience using online / electronic communication and survey tools § Proven facilitation and mediation skills § Experience authoring and editing business communications § Graphics development and manipulation experience § Experience managing external communications and media relations § Mastery of MS Office suite and one or more graphics software packages (e.g., Adobe)

§ Content Excellence:

§ Always challenges solution design against business objectives

§ Has a network of contacts both within and outside the engagement that provides access

to content knowledge

§ Can apply knowledge and experience outside of their immediate area of responsibility

§ Able to adapt and implement HCL’s methodologies for client-specific situations where

appropriate

§ Able to translate business goals into a set of requirements that can be supported by an

appropriate standard or bespoke solution

§ Able to complete complex implementations when requirements are potentially unclear

and inconsistent § Can tailor and apply previous experience to client need and recognize and address recurring issues

§ Delivery Excellence:

§ Can manage the expectations of client team members and their managers within the

business, to ensure acceptance of solutions delivered

§ Can develop and deliver plans for a sub-phase within a delivery program.

§ Identifies and escalates issues and risks within area of responsibility directly to the

engagement management team and takes responsibility for resolution

§ Builds relationships with client leads based on mutual respect and commitment

§ Identifies issues and risks within their area of responsibility and takes responsibility for

their resolution

§ Able to give and receive feedback/coaching on performance from other members of the

team positively and constructively

§ Can deliver within a broad area of responsibility on an assignment

§ Client Development:

§ Is capable of supporting a sales visit with a new prospect in area of technical

competence

§ Able to write a simple proposal or contribute to sections of a more complex proposal

§ Fully aware of HCL’s commercial accountability on engagements and contributes

towards delivery of them

§ Able to identify opportunities for add-on business within client engagements and

convincingly articulate HCL capabilities and offerings to clients

Other Requirements

1.Business Process Management (BPM) certification is preferred
