SAP ECC - Materials Management Senior Product Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Product Specialist in SAP ECC Materials Management is responsible for overseeing the management of materials and the associated processes within the SAP ECC system. This role involves ensuring efficient material procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations to support the organization's supply chain requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Configure and optimize the sap ecc materials management module to meet the organization's material procurement and management needs.

2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement material management strategies in sap ecc.

3. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the sap ecc system related to material master data, purchase orders, goods receipts, and inventory levels.

4. Provide training and guidance to end-users on sap ecc materials management processes and functionalities.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies in material management processes within sap ecc.

6. Stay updated on the latest sap ecc materials management functionalities and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap ecc materials management module, including experience in material master data management, procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics execution.

2. Strong analytical skills to assess material management requirements, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions within sap ecc.

3. Knowledge of integration points between sap ecc materials management and other sap modules like sales and distribution (sd) and production planning (pp).

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and lead discussions on material management best practices.

5. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.

6. Certification in sap ecc materials management is preferred.
