Job Summary
The Senior Embedded Device Test Lead plays a critical role in the testing and validation process of embedded systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements and objectives. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans and enhance testing methodologies, ultimately driving efficiency and effectiveness in the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Highlighting Performance Concerns And Inconsistencies, While Ensuring Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructure Are Maintained And Up To Date.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement Within Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process In Embedded Systems.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Python, Ensuring Consistency With Quality Standards And Minimizing Exposure To Defects In Embedded Device Functionalities.
4. Develop, Guide, And Mentor Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Embedded Device Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Overall Productivity.
Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Embedded Device Testing Methodologies And Practices.
2. Strong Understanding Of Python Programming Language For Test Automation.
3. Familiarity With Test Management Tools And Frameworks Relevant To Embedded Systems.
4. Solid Knowledge Of Quality Assurance Principles And Best Practices.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Tester Foundation Level (Ctfl), Istqb Advanced Level Test Manager, Or Relevant Automation Testing Certifications.
