Azure Data Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quadient Workflow Engineer with strong experience in customer communications management (CCM), Azure cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations with Blue Crest output and print management systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable document workflows, integrating Quadient Inspire with modern cloud-based data and event-driven architectures.
This role requires a blend of CCM expertise, data engineering, and integration architecture, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Quadient Inspire workflows (Designer , Scaler, Interactive, Automation) for enterprise document generation and distribution.
• Implement and support end-to-end document lifecycle workflows, including composition, formatting, bundling, and delivery (print, email, digital).
• Integrate Quadient workflows with Blue Crest print and mail systems for high-volume production environments.
• Design and implement integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and REST APIs.
• Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines leveraging Azure services (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks where applicable).
• Develop and maintain event-driven workflows using Azure services (Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Ensure seamless integration between Quadient and Blue Crest and Azure platforms.
• Optimize workflow performance for high-volume batch processing and near real-time communications.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Support document compliance requirements (regulatory, audit, archival standards).
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and business teams to align with enterprise standards and governance.
• Participate in code reviews, design workshops, and release cycles.

Skill Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quadient Inspire (Designer, Scaler, Interactive, Automation).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, including:
  o  Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  o  Azure Storage (Blob/Data Lake)
  o  Azure Functions / Logic Apps
  o  Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
  o  Experience integrating with Blue Crest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail solutions.
  o  Strong knowledge of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT, and workflow orchestration.
  o  Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, and file-based integrations (XML, JSON, CSV).
  o  Solid understanding of document composition, template design, and output management.
  o  Experience working with high-volume batch processing systems.
  o  Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
  o  Programming/Scripting: SQL, Python, JavaScript
