Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

To act as a liaison between the business and technical teams| analyze and document business requirements| suggest design solutions to the assigned project team as per the business requirement.

Experienced Business Analysts (EDI)to support its integration and digital supply chain initiatives across EMEA and ANZ. The role requires strong expertise in EDI consulting, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on experience with Boomi integration platform.

The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving EDI implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support across multiple trading partner ecosystems.

--- ## Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document EDI requirements

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and integration designs

• Lead and support end-to-end EDI implementations (onboarding, mapping, testing, deployment)

• Work closely with technical teams on Boomi-based integration solutions

• Manage trading partner onboarding, including coordination with vendors and customers

• Perform data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting for EDI transactions (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT)

• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements

• Ensure compliance with EDI standards, governance, and best practices

• Collaborate with global teams across EMEA and ANZ regions

--- ## Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in EDI consulting / Business Analysis roles

• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, etc.)

• Hands-on or working knowledge of Boomi (Dell Boomi integration platform)

• Experience in integration platforms / middleware solutions

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional and global teams

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

• Experience in trading partner onboarding and lifecycle management

• Ability to manage multiple EDI projects in parallel

--- ## Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or retail industries (preferably in global organizations)

• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

• Understanding of API-based integrations alongside EDI

• Prior experience working in global delivery models

Key Responsibilities

1. To prepare the functional specification document and ensure for completeness and storage.

2. To understand the business requirements and map it to functional specifications.

3. To participate and facilitate the walkthrough’ to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.

4. To prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements

5. Suggest design solutions
