Test Lead - BIOS Validation and Automation

Job Summary

The Test Lead in BIOS Validation is responsible for overseeing the testing process to ensure that all quality standards are met for BIOS-related projects. This role involves planning, deploying, and managing testing strategies that align with client and internal requirements, contributing significantly to the overall quality assurance process. The Test Lead will lead a team in the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks, ensuring the seamless functioning of BIOS systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Stakeholders To Thoroughly Understand Design Specifications And Identify Performance Concerns, Facilitating The Development Of Automated Test Scripts And Maintaining A Comprehensive Test Case Suite Using Bios Validation Tools.

2. Develop And Enhance Automated Tests Aligned With New System Features And Enhancements, While Creating Detailed Work Plans And Diligently Monitoring Schedules For Timely Project Delivery In Accordance With Established Quality Standards.

3. Design And Implement A Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Framework, Formulate Test Strategies And Plans, Manage Test Data Effectively, And Generate Status Reports To Mitigate Risks And Address Potential Project Escalations.

4. Guide And Mentor Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework, Fostering Their Technical Growth And Enhancing Team Productivity To Ensure High-Quality Outcomes In Bios Validation Projects.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Bios Validation Processes And Methodologies.

2. Proficiency In Developing Automated Test Scripts Using Relevant Tools And Technologies.

3. Solid Experience In Creating And Implementing Test Strategies And Plans.

4. Familiarity With Test Automation Frameworks And Tools Related To Bios Testing.

5. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Mentor And Guide Team Members.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications In Istqb (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Or Equivalent Testing Certifications.

2. Certification In Relevant Automated Testing Tools Related To Bios Validation Is Also Beneficial.
