EDI Technical Specialist - Sterling Integrator

Job Summary

• At least 7+ years in Integration tool like IBM Sterling Integrator using standards EDIFACT, ANSI, XML, and flat file layouts.

• 4+ years in IBM EDI B2B Sterling Integrator server administration with experience in JAVA, Unix Shell Scripts or related.

• Preferred experience working with EDI Mapping, XML, XSLT, Power shell scripts, database and framework like Lightwell or Remedi

• Strong understanding of communication protocols – AS2, OFTP, SFTP, HTTPS.

• Exposure on server migration from on premise to cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement and maintain edi systems, xml data integrations, and sterling integrator solutions.

2. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to data exchange and integration processes.

3. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance and optimize data flow.

4. Develop and implement data mappings and transformations as per business needs.

5. Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.

6. Provide technical support and training to end-users on edi, xml, and sterling integrator platforms.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in electronic data interchange (edi) standards and protocols.

2. Strong knowledge of xml data format and transformations.

3. Experience with ibm sterling b2b integrator or similar integration platforms.

4. Familiarity with mapping and translation tools such as gentran, gis, or trusted link.

5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes.

6. Good understanding of data security and encryption methods.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams.

8. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in EDI, XML, or Sterling Integrator will be a plus.
