Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

A highly experienced S/4HANA Treasury Management SME to lead design, implementation, and optimization of treasury processes within the S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical knowledge of S/4HANA Treasury modules, strong domain expertise in corporate treasury, and hands-on experience delivering end-to-end treasury transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Functional Expertise

• Serve as the primary SME for S/4HANA Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) components, including:

• Cash Management

• Bank Account Management (BAM)

• Treasury & Risk Management (Hedge Management, Exposure Management)

• Debt & Investment Management

• In-House Cash

• Payment Processing & Bank Communication Management

• Design and optimize cash positioning, liquidity planning, cash concentration, and forecasting using S/4HANA tools.

• Enable automation for bank statements (MT940, CAMT), e-banking integrations, and payment workflows.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Lead blueprinting, requirement gathering, and solution design for treasury processes in S/4HANA.

• Configure relevant S/4HANA Treasury modules, master data, and integration touchpoints.

• Support end-to-end project activities: design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), training, go-live, and hypercare.

• Ensure seamless integration with:

• FI/CO (GL, AP/AR, cost centers)

• Cash operations

• Banking interfaces

• Risk management and financial instruments

Risk Management

• Configure and support FX, interest rate, and commodity risk processes.

• Set up hedge accounting, exposure management, and market data integration.

• Develop reporting structures for valuation, risk analytics, and positions.

Stakeholder & Governance

• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams to ensure process alignment.

• Provide thought leadership and best practices for treasury digitization and S/4HANA transformation.

• Create functional documentation, training materials, and conduct workshops.

Skill Requirements

• 7–12 years of Treasury domain experience, with 5+ years in S/4HANA Treasury.

• Hands-on experience configuring:

• Cash Management

• Bank Account Management

• Treasury & Risk Management

• Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Financial Instruments

• Payment factory, BCM, and SWIFT/e Banking integrations

• Deep knowledge of treasury processes: cash & liquidity management, payments, risk management, hedging, investments, debt, and intercompany loans.

• Strong understanding of financial accounting and integration with treasury modules.

• Experience delivering S/4HANA Treasury implementations or migrations.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
