About the role
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Senior Design Lead functions related to Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management. You will play a key role in driving cost estimation, collaborating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the success of design projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the analysis and estimation of component costs for new product designs to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve competitive pricing and quality materials.

Develop and implement strategies for supplier development and management to strengthen partnerships and improve supply chain efficiency.

Manage the relationship with suppliers, addressing any issues, and ensuring timely delivery of components for design projects.
Skill Requirements

Proficiency in component cost estimation methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Experience in supplier development & management practices to optimize supplier performance and reliability.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Other Requirements
1.Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a plus.
