Job Summary

wns PostgreSQL vulnerability remediation across SG's PCP estate. Range driven by underlying automation maturity; Phase 2 explicitly targets reducing the upper bound.

Key Responsibilities

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ■ Execute PostgreSQL minor-version and security patching cycles.
• Coordinate with application owners on connection-pool, restart and validation windows.
• Manage replication (streaming, logical) during patching.
• Apply extensions and contrib-module updates as part of remediation.
• Maintain and extend automation playbooks (Ansible / equivalent).
• Produce evidence and contribute to Phase 2 automation. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS ■ PostgreSQL administration (12, 13, 14, 15, 16).
• Familiarity with streaming and logical replication.
• Configuration management — Ansible playbooks for PostgreSQL patching.
• Performance and locking awareness during patching.
