Automation Test Specialist Embedded

Job Summary

The Test Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through testing. This position involves utilizing Testing Tools and Test Automation (EMB)to develop and execute test cases, automate testing processes, and identify and report defects in the software.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Lead to drive our quality assurance strategy,using AI and latest automation tech stack oversee test automation frameworks, and lead a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in test automation, proven leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, scalability, and reliability.Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).Define, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks (UI, API, performance, and integration).Develop automation strategies to ensure coverage across regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps to align testing with business and technical requirements.Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for test progress and product quality.Conduct code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure best practices and maintainability.Drive CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.Identify process improvements and champion quality across the SDLC.Required Skills6–10 years of experience in QA, with at least 2–3 years in a lead role.Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium).Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python).Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools ( GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for testing distributed applications.Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience in testing microservices architecture.Certification in ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in using testing tools such as testing tools (emb), selenium, and java for test automation.

2. Strong knowledge of test planning, test case development, and test execution processes.

3. Experience in creating automated test scripts and frameworks using testing tools and test automation techniques.

4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in agile environments for software testing.

5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and troubleshoot software defects effectively.

6. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and report test findings clearly.
