SAP BTP - CPI Lead Consultant

Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for BTP SAP CPI is responsible for providing expertise and guidance in implementing Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions with a focus on SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The role involves designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions to meet business requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and configure integration scenarios using sap cpi within the btp framework.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and propose solutions.
3. Develop and implement custom interfaces, mappings, and transformations in sap cpi.
4. Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot any issues in the integration flows.
5. Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within the defined timelines.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members in sap cpi development best practices.

Skill Requirements

16+ years of implementation experience on SAP Integration technologies out of which 2+ years relevant experience on SAP Integration Suite
Strong Development experience in SAP Cloud Integration of SAP Integration Suite
Strong experience on i Flow development with SOAP, REST, FILE, Idoc, Process Direct, OData, etc. adapters for A2A/B2B Integration scenarios
Strong hands-on scripting experience in Groovy Scripts
Exposure to various mapping techniques like Message mappings, XSLT, Value mapping
Well versed with CPI Palette options
Identify Performance optimization opportunities, message reprocessing, exception handling
Sound knowledge of key security aspects of Cloud Integration models along with Encryption/Decryption
Expereince of SAP API Management /Event Mesh/Edge Integration Cell/Cloud Connector/PO to CPI Migration/Open Connectors/Integration Advisor
Strong EDI related Integrations like 3PL, etc
Experience with PI 7.40 or higher/ESR/ID/SLD/Adapter Engine.
Multiple SAP S/4HANA Implementation projects

Troubleshoot & Resolve Integration issues:

Certification on SAP Integration Suite is a plus

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Cloud Platform Integration or similar certification is preferred.
