Senior Design Lead

Job Summary

1. 5-8 years of experience in Marine, Mid or Small Engine design .

• 1. Provide CAD support for designing and drafting of complex casting components for engine like
• Cylinder head , Exhaust manifold, Engine block Cam shaft , Intake manifold , Oil pan , Pump Manifold using Creo-Part modeling, Advanced Part modeling, Surfacing modeling techniques & Creation of Manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge.

1. Provide CAD support for designing and drafting Drivetrain components - housings, gears, shafts, etc. as per Creo-Modeling best Practices.

2. Manufacturing process knowledge for designing and modeling of components using Casting, forging, and machining process knowledge

3. Experience in Creating production drawings of Castings, machining drawings with GD&T.

4. Experience in Skeleton modeling, copy-geometry merge inheritance and reverse engineering

5. Creates Sheet metal parts, Assemblies, and their drawings.

6. Must be Goal oriented with good communication skills.

7. Knowledge in Wind-chill is an added advantage

8. Creo simulate experience is an added advantage

Knowledge in designing Large and small Castings:

1. Able to do basic mechanical design calculations.

1. To leverage design expertise to ensure that software and products exhibit user-friendliness, intuitiveness, and alignment with user expectations, contributing to the creation of seamless user experiences.

2. To lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions in alignment with the overall business goals.

3. To present design concepts and play a crucial role in shaping the overall design vision and strategy.

4. To stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in design.
