Job Summary

To support a category within a region, developing and implementing category management processes and principles

Key Responsibilities

  1. To Support The Category Manager To Develop And Own Effective Relationships With Key Strategic Suppliers, Implement A Supplier Relationship Management Approach, Monitor The Supply Market Using Benchmarks And Category Indices, Manage The Contracting And Negotiation Processes, Evaluate And Improve Supplier / Category Performance For A Category

  2. To Support The Category Manager To Develop, Implement And Execute Category Strategies, Annual Category Plans And Category Knowledge Bases (Ckb) For A Category Across All The Customer Spend Which Includes Identify Key Strategic Sourcing Requirements

  3. To Support The Category Manager To Increase Value From Supply Base Through Innovative Commercial And Contracting Models, Deliver A Global And Consistent Approach For Spend, Develop Savings Plans And Track And Report Actual Delivery Against Target For A Category

  4. To Support The Category Manger To Plan And Manage Category During Both The Pursuit And Execution Of Customer Business
