Senior Analyst - FEA, ANSYS, Abaqus

Job Summary

The Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting FEA Analysis using software tools such as Carsim, Carmaker, Simpack, Amesim, Matlab, Adams, and/or other software.

Key Responsibilities

1.Creation of vehicle dynamics CAE models in various software including Carsim, Carmaker, Simpack, Amesim, Matlab, Adams, and/or other software.

2.Verification of the vehicle dynamics CAE models by comparing to past verification data or prototype vehicle track test data.

3.Conduct simulations using the vehicle dynamics CAE models to produce results for various requirement confirmations. Simulations are in the areas of ride comfort, handling, brake performance, stopping distance, steering capacity, and other vehicle dynamics phenomenon.

4.Report simulation results to Honda engineers in a set format and in meetings.

5.Continually update vehicle dynamics CAE models with design changes to the systems or components related to the models.

6.Assist in modeling efficiency best practices, research in vehicle dynamics modeling, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of finite element analysis (fea) methodologies and techniques.
2. Handson experience with Carsim, Carmaker, Simpack, Amesim, Matlab, Adams, and/or other software for conducting fea simulations.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and identify patterns.
4. Good communication skills to effectively convey analysis results and recommendations.
5. Detail oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Other Requirements

1.Certification in FEA Analysis, Abaqus, or ANSYS is a plus.
