Job Summary

As an SAP Cloud ALM Application Lifecycle Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the lifecycle management of SAP applications within a cloud environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of SAP solutions, driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s digital transformation objectives.

• DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP applications using SAP Cloud ALM, including implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Set up, configure, and optimize SAP Cloud ALM processes for incident management, change management, test management, and business process monitoring.
• Monitor system health, performance, and compliance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
• Provide expertise in best practices for application lifecycle management, offering guidance and support to project teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for SAP Cloud ALM.
• Participate in periodic reviews and audits to ensure adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ALM processes by identifying gaps and proposing innovative enhancements.
• SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP application lifecycle management processes, including incident, change, and test management.
• Experience with SAP cloud solutions (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, etc.).
• Proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization within SAP environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment.
• OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)
• SAP certification in ALM, Solution Manager, or related modules.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages for SAP environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Previous experience in a multinational or large-scale enterprise setting.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
