Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer specializing in Managed File Transfer (MFT) using Go Anywhere MFT platform. The role involves design, implementation, support, and optimization of secure file transfer solutions across enterprise ecosystems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and seamless integration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
MFT Platform Administration:
Administer, configure, and maintain Go Anywhere MFT environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
Manage file transfer workflows, projects, triggers, and schedules
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability

Integration & Automation:
Develop and support integrations with:
External vendors / partners
Internal applications (ERP, CRM, Data Platforms)
Build automated workflows using:
SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, PeSIT protocols
Implement event-driven and scheduled file transfers

Security & Compliance:
Ensure secure transmission using:
Encryption (PGP, SSL/TLS)
Key and certificate management
Implement compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOX, HIPAA where applicable)
Manage user access, roles, and audit trails

Incident & Problem Management:
Provide L2/L3 support for production issues
Troubleshoot failures in file transfers, workflows, and connectivity
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes

Environment & Release Management:
Support code migrations across environments (Dev → QA → Prod)
Maintain version control and deployment pipelines
Create reusable templates and frameworks for MFT jobs

Monitoring & Reporting:
Configure alerts, dashboards, and notifications
Track SLA/KPI metrics for file transfer success rates
Generate audit and operational reports for stakeholders

Documentation & Governance:
Prepare and maintain:
SOPs
Runbooks
KT documents
Ensure compliance with transition governance (DoD, audit readiness)
Skill Requirements
Technical Skills:
Strong experience in Go Anywhere MFT administration & development
Knowledge of file transfer protocols:
SFTP, FTPS, FTP, HTTP/S, AS2
Hands-on with:
PGP encryption
SSH keys & certificate management
Scripting knowledge:
Shell, PowerShell, or Python
Experience with:
REST/SOAP APIs
Database queries (SQL)
OS knowledge: Linux/Unix, Windows Server
Middleware & Integration Knowledge:
Understanding of enterprise middleware ecosystems
Experience integrating with:
SAP, Oracle, or enterprise applications
Exposure to APIs, microservices, or ESB platforms is an advantage
Operational Skills:
ITIL process adherence (Incident, Problem, Change)
Experience in production support environments
Ability to manage high-volume file transfers
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other MFT tools (Go Anywhere)
Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines)
Certification in Go Anywhere / Security / ITIL
Soft Skills:
Strong stakeholder communication (internal & external vendors)
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in transition / migration programs
Documentation and audit readiness mindset
