About the role

Job Summary

In this role, you will utilize your project / process management skills along with working knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating Systems, vulnerability management and OS patching to provide governance of Patch Management for the Unix/Linux platforms within Deutsche Bank. On a day-to-day basis you will be engaging with Unix/Linux engineering teams, application owners/server owners, security teams and vendors to provide smooth functioning of the end-to-end patch process and ensure the Unix/Linux Patch compliance targets are achieved consistently.\r\n\r\n Your Key Responsibilities:\r\n• You will be supporting the UNIX/LINUX Patch Management Lead by working with the key process delivery stakeholders to maintain the Key Operating Procedure document for Unix/Linux Patch Management. \r\n• You will be required to perform governance activities related to Unix/Linux Patch Management including liaising with Unix/Linux Engineering, Unix/Linux operations teams, and various application owners/server owners that host their applications on the Unix/Linux server environment, to ensure smooth end-to-end functioning of the Unix/Linux patch pipeline. \r\n This includes: \r\no Governance and management over timely delivery of OS patches. \r\no Coordination to remediate any gaps/shortcomings in Unix/Linux patch compliance reporting. \r\no Governance and Management over the Patch Scheduling team’s activities around gathering Unix/Linux patching schedules from ITAOs, Unix/Linux Server Patch Scheduling and scheduling reporting for the Unix/Linux server estate. \r\no Assist central patch management teams with governance over Patch “aging” estate by coordinating with ITAO/application/server owners to resolve patch scheduling issues and improve overall patch compliance targets. \r\no Manage DB/Vendor interlock weekly meetings for Unix/Linux patching, assist with approvals for patching related Change Requests and action any Unix/Linux related escalations. \r\n\r\n• You will perform a support role for Patch Management tooling including Service Now. \r\n• You will be a key contact for internal audit (GA), external audit (EY, PwC) and regulators for Unix/Linux Patching related queries, as well as for email queries from ITAOs/ Business areas / Audit for technology specific queries regarding status of patch, when items will be scheduled etc. \r\n Location: Pune/Bangalore, India\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\n Overview\\\\r\\\\n In this role, you will utilize your project / process management skills along with working knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating Systems, vulnerability management and OS patching to provide governance of Patch Management for the Unix/Linux platforms within Deutsche Bank. Skill Requirements

Experience leading complex infrastructure projects.\r\n• Experience in the development of infrastructure processes that align with governance controls. \r\n• People management experience, either directly or in a matrixed capacity. \r\n• Experience of Patch Management Process and Vulnerability Management concepts and tooling \r\n• Experience with collaborating with infrastructure functions, including leading interlocks to gather requirements, workshops to define requirements in conjunction with key stakeholders and the ability to provide senior management and audit documentation in support of the project and ongoing operations \r\n• Good understanding of Unix/Linux Operating Systems (Working knowledge would certainly be a plus). \r\n• Good understanding of Cloud hosted compute environments. \r\n• Good excel skills and ability to perform data analysis. \r\n• Experience of Agile methodology and use of Jira. \r\n
