Job Summary
This role ensures the seamless operation and optimization of enterprise Linux environments, leveraging advanced expertise in Red Hat technologies to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement. The position empowers teams through technical leadership, oversees adherence to client SLAs, and implements innovative solutions that enhance operational excellence and business outcomes.
Linux L3: \\\\r\\\\n \\\\r\\\\n Installing, configuring, and maintaining Operating Systems, Application Software.\\\\r\\\\n• Maintaining updated documentation for current hardware and software configurations, and for proposed future installations & modifications to the current environment.\\\\r\\\\n• Updating Password Sheets.\\\\r\\\\n• Creating SOPs for any critical issues resolution.\\\\r\\\\n• Setting ownership and permissions of files and Directory as per the OS and application requirement.\\\\r\\\\n• Patching and upgrading kernel in Red-Hat.\\\\r\\\\n• Creation of change for live production servers.\\\\r\\\\n• Coordination with client for kernel/patches upgrading.\\\\r\\\\n• Designing Backup Strategy & ensuring scheduled / unscheduled backups as per the backup plan.\\\\r\\\\n• Implementing and maintaining system Security with installing service packs & security updates as per Client.\\\\r\\\\n• Build virtual and physical Server as per provisioning work order.\\\\r\\\\n• Validating the change management as per the activity requirement\\\\r\\\\n. Should have knowledge of Cloud like AWS, AZURE and GCP\\\\r\\\\n. Should have worked in Ansible, Chef and other supportable Tools\\\\r\\\\n Able to Troubleshoot Monitoring related issues like SCOM, Fluent bit\\\\r\\\\n Able to Be Engaged Immediately for any kind of Critical issue\\\\r\\\\n Able to work 24/7/365 and get involved in the escalations.\\\\r\\\\n Scripting Knowledge
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Satellite operations by architecting, optimizing, and automating system administration processes to ensure maximum uptime and performance in large-scale environments.
- Oversee Red Hat Cluster management by implementing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
- Drive root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for critical incidents using Red Hat Linux tools, proactively identifying and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
- Mentor and guide operations teams by providing expert knowledge in Red Hat Satellite patch management, configuration automation, and compliance enforcement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business SLAs and operational goals.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging Red Hat technologies and integrating best practices for operational efficiency and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Red Hat Linux and Satellite environments, supporting audit and compliance activities.
- Champion innovation by introducing process enhancements and automation opportunities leveraging Red Hat and open-source toolsets.

Excellent Skills In Redhat Satellite For Large Scale Patch Management, Provisioning, And Configuration Automation.

Advanced Experience With Redhat Cluster Deployment, Failover Configuration, And Troubleshooting.

Strong Knowledge Of Itil Based Operations Management And Incident/Problem Management Best Practices.

Excellent Problem Solving And Analytical Skills For Resolving Complex Technical Issues In Enterprise Environments.

Solid Understanding Of Automation Tools Such As Ansible In Redhat Ecosystems.
