Nice to have: Underwriting domain knowledge JD below: Project Description and Expected Capabilities Overview of F&C Power Platform The F&C Power Platform Programme consists of a suite of Microsoft cloud-based web applications designed to support Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants within F&C. These applications facilitate the management of all key phases of the underwriting process, promoting transparency and efficiency throughout. Core Applications and Workflow Systems The platform encompasses several workflow systems, including NOWA, Propel, and Navig8. These tools guide users through the completion of submissions, ensuring all relevant information is provided and offering intelligent links for seamless navigation. Advoc8 serves as an application for viewing and managing referrals within submissions, as well as documenting the necessary data. Gener8 is an automated document generation and policy management system. It maintains templates and triggers the creation of documents automatically when required, based on the data provided. Risk Documentation and Risk Summary are user interface applications designed to capture risk assessment data from various systems, such as pricing tools and FAB. These applications compile and present the gathered information in a PDF document for further analysis and reference. Capabilities Required for Future Development General Capabilities Access management facilitated by Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security group configuration Utilisation of Share Point libraries Reporting Integration and use of PowerBI for reporting purposes Navig8 – Workflow Tool Outlook Add-In developed as a Canvas App Provisioning through IAM role assignment Team and user configuration, including Azure Active Directory (AAD) and IAM integration Custom connector integration with FAB (an underwriting tool outside Power Platform) Implementation of a workflow engine Creation and management of submissions, workflows, and tasks (primarily as a Model Driven App) Assignment of teams and users Support for multiple workflow types and task types, including conditional and parallel task cycles Approval checks conducted via Advoc8 Data Integration Custom connectors for Activ8 and various pricing tools (both outside Power Platform) Document Management Storage solutions using Share Point libraries, with options for personal sharing to non-system users and metadata management Canvas App for document interaction Archiving capabilities via custom connector (APIM) Ability to create folders and subfolders within the archiving system Comprehensive document archiving functionality Planned future enhancements for AI-driven document analysis and extraction Gener8 – Document Creation Tool Data intake managed.

Key Responsibilities

To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards , implementation of best practices and perform Value creation and KM activities.
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance| and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
3. Responsible for shaping the overall project strategy working closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and keeping track of schedule to ensure on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. Identify & flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
