Job Summary

We are looking for a Rubrik Engineer responsible for implementing, administering, and supporting Rubrik-based data protection solutions. The role focuses on backup, recovery, replication, disaster recovery, ransomware protection, and integration with on‑prem and cloud environments.\r\n\r\n Key Responsibilities\r\n\r\n Design, implement, and manage Rubrik CDM environments for enterprise backup and recovery\r\n Configure backup and SLA domains for:\r\n Virtual machines (VMware / Hyper‑V)\r\n Physical servers\r\nNAS file shares\r\n Databases (SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, etc.)\r\n Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform restore operations\r\n Manage on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid backup solutions\r\n Implement disaster recovery (DR) and replication strategies\r\n Support cloud integrations: Object storage (S3, Azure Blob)\r\n Perform ransomware recovery and data integrity validation\r\n Apply system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates\r\n Automate backup operations using Rubrik APIs / PowerShell\r\nIntegrate Rubrik with monitoring and ticketing tools\r\n Create documentation and operational runbooks\r\n Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on‑call rotations\r\n Required Skills & Qualifications\r\n\r\n Strong hands-on experience with Rubrik CDM\r\n Solid understanding of backup & recovery concepts\r\n Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems\r\n Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage technologies\r\n Understanding of DR, RPO, RTO, and compliance requirements\r\n Strong troubleshooting and communication skills\r\n Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills\r\n\r\n Rubrik Polaris (Radar, Sonar, GPS)\r\n Cyber recovery and ransomware response experience\r\n Knowledge of competing tools:\r\n Veeam, Networker, Data Domain\r\nITIL process awareness\r\n Rubrik certification (Rubrik Certified System Administrator- RCSA)
