Senior Designer PCB Design Tool, Board design

Job Summary

Mandatory Skills:

o Strong in system level Hardware testing and HW debugging (SI, OS images, board level & system level issues) (worked on Switches & Routers) Preference for those who are exposed to Cisco OS (IOS-XR).

o Should be part of a HW product development cycle & have exposure to the tools and applications to store the reports, plans & to track bugs.

o Should be well versed in generating test plans & tabulation of test results & uploading the report after review.

o Should have knowledge & experience in scripting using Python automation.

o Experience in using Thermal chambers manually & with automated methods.

o Must have experience working in Linux / Unix environment.

o Should be good in Networking. Ability to configure and set up complex router and traffic equipment on a wide variety of interfaces. Ethernet, POS, ATM, Serial, E1/T1 etc and exposure to traffic generators ( IXIA/ Spirent) and L2/L3 testing (BGP/MPLS/VRF protocols).

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct design verification and validation activities to ensure the functionality and quality of designs.

2. Utilize pcb design tools to create and modify pcb layouts according to project requirements.

3. Design test plans to validate the functionality and performance of electronic designs.

4. Develop interfaces for connecting electronic components and devices within systems.

5. Create uc board designs to support the overall functionality of electronic systems.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in design verification & validation processes.

2. Experience with various pcb design tools such as altium designer, kicad, or eagle.

3. Strong knowledge of test/interface design and implementation.

4. Ability to design uc boards to meet system requirements and specifications.

5. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for problem-solving in the design process.
