About the role
Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain VMware environments.Troubleshoot and resolve complex VMware infrastructure issues.Monitor system performance and ensure VMware environments are running optimally.Collaborate with IT teams to develop and deploy virtualization strategies.Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and updates.Stay updated with the latest VMware technologies and best practices.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior VMware engineers.Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in managing VMware environments.

Advanced knowledge of VMware v Sphere, ESXi, and other VMware products.

Experience with SAN and NAS storage solutions.

Familiarity with network and security concepts in virtualized environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead end-to-end operations and continuous improvement of VMware v Sphere and vSAN environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with client SLAs.

Utilize VMware v Center and vSAN administration tools to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues, driving root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Oversee implementation and optimization of VMware SRM (Site Recovery Manager) for disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

Deploy and manage ARIA Monitoring Tools to proactively monitor virtualization infrastructure, generate actionable insights, and enhance incident response.

Mentor and guide support teams on advanced VMware best practices, fostering technical growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine operational processes, leveraging VMware platform features for improved efficiency and reporting.

Evaluate emerging VMware technologies and recommend innovative solutions for process optimization and infrastructure scalability.

Ensure transparent communication of project objectives, progress, and risks to stakeholders, facilitating effective issue resolution and client satisfaction.

Strong Leadership And Mentoring Abilities, With Proven Experience Guiding Support Teams In Complex Environments.

In Depth Understanding Of Itil Based Operations Management, Incident, And Change Management Practices.

Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills.
