Teradata Senior Technical Specialist

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing architectural leadership in silicon platform validation, leveraging deep technical expertise in Python and related validation frameworks. The individual drives complex solution design and implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and industry standards. They influence technology direction, enforce governance, and foster technical excellence within the team to deliver cutting-edge validation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide architectural leadership in silicon platform validation by designing and implementing validation frameworks and test solutions using Python and industry-standard tools, ensuring technical solutions align with client requirements and business objectives.

2. Define and validate platform requirements by analyzing silicon specifications and collaborating with internal stakeholders, translating technical needs into robust validation architectures.

3. Establish validation strategies using Python-based automation, orchestrating comprehensive test environments to ensure silicon quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

4. Review and approve architecture, design, and validation deliverables, enforcing best practices, governance, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.

5. Drive technology adoption and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging validation tools, integrating new Python libraries and methodologies, and promoting knowledge upgradation within the team.

6. Mentor and train team members in silicon platform validation techniques, Python automation, and architectural best practices to ensure technical capability and mitigate delivery risks.

Skill Requirements

1. Architectural Leadership and deep expertise in silicon platform validation methodologies, tools, and processes.

2. Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and development of validation frameworks.

3. Solid understanding of silicon design, hardware-software integration, and platform-level test strategies.

4. Expertise in applying industry best practices for architecture, governance, and compliance in technical solutioning.

5. Proven ability to drive technology direction, evaluate new tools, and ensure solutions are current and scalable.

Other Requirements

1. Optional but valuable: Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer, Python Institute PCAP, or relevant silicon validation/architecture credentials.
