Job Summary

The Developer at HCL is responsible for component cost estimation, supplier collaboration and negotiation, as well as supplier development and management. The role involves evaluating costs, collaborating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimate and analyze component costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

2. Collaborate with suppliers to source components, develop new products, and improve existing products.

3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.

4. Develop and implement strategies for supplier development and relationship management.

5. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.

Skill Requirements

1. Understanding of component cost estimation methodologies and tools.

2. Good negotiation skills to collaborate with suppliers and secure favorable terms.

3. Knowledge of supplier collaboration to drive product innovation and cost-effectiveness.

4. Familiarity with supplier development and management to maintain and sustainable supplier relationships.

5. Analytical skills to evaluate costs, contracts, and supplier performance effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is a plus.
