
Track Lead - Wireless Networking
About the role
Job Summary
-
Act as the primary escalation point for (P1/P2) incidents.

Lead troubleshooting bridges for major outages and perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Centre environments.

Plan, review, and execute high-impact network changes, including configuration updates, major upgrades, migrations, hardware patching, and firmware updates, ensuring minimal business impact.

Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures (SOPs).

Provide technical leadership and guidance to L1/L2 teams; support knowledge transfer and skill development.

Perform trend analysis on recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes through problem management.

Collaborate with vendors/OEMs (TAC) for advanced troubleshooting and critical issue resolution.

Support major projects, migrations, and transformation initiatives from an operations perspective.

Identify and drive automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
-
Participate in on-call rotations for Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.

Technical Qualifications
-
12+ years of hands-on experience in network support within a high-availability, production operations environment.

Strong experience working with network technologies across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Centre environments.

Hands-on expertise with network vendors including switches (Cisco, Juniper, Dell), wireless solutions (HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, Meraki), and load balancers (F5, Citrix Net Scaler).

Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, 802.1x,VPNs, Sdwan,etc.

Proficiency in load balancing technologies, including application delivery control

Experience in network monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., Service Now, Solar Winds, PRTG,etc.) is preferred.

Exposure to network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent knowledge of network packet captures, tooling and ability to analyse
