Job Summary
IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer:
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day technical support to internal users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and email systems. System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, applications, and IT peripherals. Network Management: Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity. Coordinate with ISPs to ensure optimal uptime and performance. Asset Management: Maintain and track IT inventory, including hardware and software assets, ensuring proper lifecycle management. User Account & Access Management: Manage user accounts, email IDs, and access rights using Active Directory and Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with security standards. Data Backup & Recovery: Ensure regular data backups and support restoration processes to safeguard critical business data. Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor antivirus, firewall, and cybersecurity controls. Support compliance activities, including EUC ECAM requirements. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC management, and resolution of IT-related issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation for IT processes, SOPs, asset records, and incident logs for audit and operational purposes. IT Project Support: Assist in implementing new IT solutions, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. Application & Infrastructure Management: Install and configure ICE applications as per business requirements Perform monthly server reboots (ICE, Boundary) and patch installations Support DR failover activities Provide application support and coordinate with OEM/vendors Operational Support: Provide floor-level IT support to ensure all tools and systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
Skill Requirements
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (user and access management) Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking, routers, switches, and firewalls Experience with VPN, Citrix environments, and remote access tools Knowledge of server management, patching, and DR (Disaster Recovery) processes Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service Now Application & System Support: Experience in application installation, configuration, and OEM/vendor coordination Hands-on experience with enterprise applications (e.g., ICE, Boundary or similar tools) Security & Compliance: Understanding of cybersecurity practices (antivirus, firewall, endpoint security) Awareness of compliance requirements (EUC, audit, ECAM standards) Infrastructure & Operations: Experience in IT infrastructure monitoring and maintenance Knowledge of backup and recovery processes IT asset and inventory management Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced banking/enterprise environment Strong documentation and reporting skills
