
Senior Administrator - MS System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
About the role
Job Summary
Design, install, configure, and maintain SCCM site servers, site systems, and distribution points. Software Deployment: Package, test, and distribute software applications to workstations and servers. Patch Management: Utilize WSUS within SCCM to deploy operating system and third-party software updates to ensure security compliance. Operating System Deployment (OSD): Create and maintain Windows desktop images, task sequences, and drivers for bare-metal or in-place upgrades. Asset Intelligence: Perform asset inventory to track hardware and software usage compliance. Compliance Settings: Define and monitor configuration baselines to ensure systems adhere to company policies. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise: Strong experience with SCCM/MECM current branch, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and Windows Server/Desktop OS. Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell for automating repetitive tasks. Modern Management: Experience with co-management (SCCM + Intune) and cloud-attached management. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot deployment failures, client health issues, and network connectivity problems. Experience Level: Typically 3–8+ years of experience, depending on seniority (L2/L3)
