Technical lead - FEA, ANSYS, Abaqus

Job Summary

8+ years of experience in Full vehicle model build including advanced meshing strategies, weld and connection modeling, contact setup, and rigorous quality checks aligned with OEM safety standards Crash and Safety simulations, strong experience in full-vehicle structural crashworthiness development across passenger cars ICE and BEVs.Expertise in global safety regulations (Euro-NCAP, FMVSS, ECE, AIS) and end-to-end vehicle development and concept evaluation through simulation, countermeasure development, correlation ,and homologation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of engineers and analysts involved in fea projects

2. Utilize abaqus and ansys software to conduct complex finite element analysis simulations

3. Interpret analysis results and provide recommendations for design enhancements

4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within the specified timelines

5. Stay updated on industry advancements in fea analysis, abaqus, and ansys techniques

6. Train and mentor junior team members in fea methodologies and best practices

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in finite element analysis (fea) methodologies

2. Strong experience in utilizing abaqus and ansys software for simulation and analysis

3. Knowledge of structural and mechanical engineering principles

4. Ability to interpret analysis results and derive actionable insights

5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

6. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team

Other Requirements

1.Professional certification in FEA Analysis, Abaqus, or ANSYS is a plus
