Facility Maintenance & Engineering- III

Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of facilities within a large IT organization. The individual ensures optimal functioning of building systems, drives engineering solutions for facility improvements, and manages compliance with safety and regulatory standards. They play a key role in supporting business continuity by maintaining a safe, efficient, and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead facility maintenance activities by applying expert knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations and rapid issue resolution.

2. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize asset performance and lifecycle.

3. Manage facility engineering projects by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications.

4. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions using industry-standard tools and protocols.

5. Analyze facility data using building management systems (BMS) to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.

6. Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting complex facility issues, recommending engineering solutions for long-term reliability.

7. Oversee procurement and installation of facility equipment, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure and compliance with organizational standards.
