Job Summary

Job Description: Developer – EWA Application (Ex Co Service)Overview Join a dynamic team responsible for the development, maintenance, operation, and support of the EWA application and its components for Volvo Cars. The team will be based in Pune, India, working closely with Volvo’s engineering teams and following agile methodologies.Key Responsibilities Develop new EWA application functionalities (~80% of the role).Maintain, operate, and support existing EWA components (~20%).Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint meetings, quarterly syncs).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features as per quarterly objectives.Provide regular progress updates and participate in technical/project meetings.Handle IT service management tasks related to the application (Service Now).Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues.Technical Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with:.NET 8 and C# 8Web API development Github (version control and collaboration)Azure services: App Services, Key Vault, Storage Account, Application Insights, Event Hubs Databases: MongoDB, SQL Server Familiarity with Service Now for IT service management is a plus.Experience working in agile teams and delivering in sprints.Ability to break down features into user stories and plan deliverables.Additional Requirements Willingness to work from Pune office (with occasional visits to Volvo office as needed).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a multicultural, distributed team environment.Proactive in raising and handling critical issues.Open to working within the service hours: 6:00 – 16:00 CET.

Key Responsibilities

1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery

To support as an Subject Matter Expert:

1. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements

2. Ensuring a sufficient pool of skilled professionals in the designated technology, through activities such as conducting interviews, providing training sessions and offering mentorship.

3. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.

4. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions – building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.

5. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
