Job Summary

Process non defined spare parts requests in SAP, search BOM for next higher level assembly. Work with supplier, Central spare parts management team and process the spare parts ordering transactions in SAP

Key Responsibilities

• Solve global requests for non-defined service parts and spare parts clarification for Siemens DX products in the Core Lab Solution and Specialty Lab Solution Business Lines utilizing SAP, Spare Parts Catalog, Solid Edge parts drawings and OEM manufacturer’s spare parts drawings

• Document activity for spare parts clarification and non-defined service parts in the appropriate escalation management system

• Clarify availability from suppliers and the Business Line for required parts

• Perform complex data entry and maintenance of parts data in SAP P41 for critical and auditable business and quality processes

• Obtain, transfer and input engineering and procurement data into SAP using the SPOT transaction for new products and commercialized products

• Update data in SAP when service parts information changes

• Associate service parts data with mandatory updates (MUs) in SAP

• Appropriately escalates issues or roadblocks when necessary

• Other tasks/ duties as assigned
