
Analyst - SCM PO Management
About the role
Job Summary
This role supports purchase order lifecycle management by ensuring accurate processing, managing supplier interactions, and maintaining effective internal communication. The individual will contribute to operational efficiency by identifying process issues, supporting enhancements, and generating business reports for continuous improvement within assigned categories such as Services, MRO, or Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities

Utilize SCM PO Management systems to process requisitions into purchase orders, handle change requests, and ensure data accuracy for assigned sub-categories.

Apply analytical skills to identify issues in order processing workflows and support the implementation of basic process improvements using standard SCM tools.

Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal team members to resolve discrepancies and clarify requirements within the scope of assigned tasks.

Generate and maintain management information reports using Excel or reporting tools to track purchase order status, supplier performance, and process health.

Document business requirements for minor enhancements in PO management workflows, ensuring clarity and alignment with functional needs.

Participate in internal team discussions to share updates, report issues, and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
Skill Requirements

Foundational Knowledge Of Scm Po Management Processes And Related Enterprise Systems.

Basic Proficiency In Communication, Both Verbal And Written, For Effective Coordination Within The Team And With Suppliers.

Basic Analytical Skills In Identifying Operational Issues And Preparing Reports.

Familiarity With Spreadsheet Tools Such As Microsoft Excel For Data Analysis And Reporting.

Other Requirements
