Senior Developer - Rest, Jira, Windchill

Job Summary

This Senior Developer will be responsible for and will own the end -to- end change management and governance function for th platform. This is a new function within GTS and requires a structured, process-oriented individual who can establish and operate a formal change management framework from th ground up — including during a major Jira redesign programme.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the Jira change management process — intake, approval, scheduling and deployment coordination

• Maintain a complete, time stamped change log and audit trail for all Jira configuration changes

• Coordinate release windows and produce release notes and deployment communications

• Define and enforce the Jira governance framework — naming conventions, field standards, workflow policies

• Review and approve change requests submitted by HCL during the redesign programme

• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and manage remediation of standards breaches

Skill Requirements

Requirement:

• Skills and experience:

At least 3+ years of experience in Java administration or Atlassian platform management.

• Demonstrable experience with change management or ITSM processes (ITIL awareness is preferred).

• Strong documentation and SOP authoring skills.

• High attention to detail—audit rigor is essential.

• Experience working in large enterprises (2,000+ users preferred).

• Familiarity with Java Cloud is preferred.
