About the role
Job Summary
The Sr. Administrator for Support & Operations plays a critical role in delivering advanced technical support and operational excellence. This position is responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring that our services meet quality standards, ultimately contributing to positive customer feedback and satisfaction.
**Installing, configuring, and maintaining Operating Systems, Application Software.
- Maintaining updated documentation for current hardware and software configurations, and for proposed future installations & modifications to the current environment.
- Updating Password Sheets.
- Creating SOPs for any critical issues resolution.
- Setting ownership and permissions of files and Directory as per the OS and application requirement.
- Patching and upgrading kernel in Red-Hat.
- Creation and execution of change for live production servers.
- Coordination with client for kernel/patches upgrading.
- Designing Backup Strategy & ensuring scheduled / unscheduled backups as per the backup plan.
- Implementing and maintaining system Security with installing service packs & security updates as per Client.
- Build virtual and physical Server as per provisioning work order.
- Validating the change management as per the activity requirement . Should have knowledge of Cloud like AWS, AZURE and GCP. Should have knowledge of Pacemaker, Service Guard, and Lustre. . Should have worked in Ansible, Chef and other supportable Tools Able to Troubleshoot Monitoring related issues like SCOM, Fluent bit Able to Be Engaged Immediately for any kind of Critical issue Able to work 24/7/365 and get involved in the escalations. Key Responsibilities
- Provide Advanced Technical Support For Complex Incidents Related To Linux And Redhat Satellite, Conducting Thorough Root Cause Analysis To Implement Effective Solutions For Technical And Security Challenges.
- Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements While Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies Throughout Support Operations.
- Manage And Update The Knowledge Base, Contributing To Effective Documentation And Ongoing Training For New Team Members And Analysts.
- Resolve Complex Support Tickets Within Agreed Slas And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Enhance Operational Efficiency And Strengthen Security Posture.
- Drive Customer Satisfaction By Achieving High First Call Resolution Rates, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Case Reopenings, And Proactively Mitigating Security Threats.

- Strong Understanding Of Redhat Cluster Technologies.
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills With A Focus On Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity With It Service Management Frameworks And Processes.
- Effective Communication Skills For Customer Interaction And Team Collaboration.

Other Requirements
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (Rhcsa) Certification Is Optional But Valuable.
- Itil Foundation Certification Is Recommended For Best Practices In Service Management.
