Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

The candidate should be having good knowledge and experience in development of Windows/Linux Audio Device drivers software for the embedded products. And, responsible for designing, coding and testing the C and C++ device drivers and debugging the kernel level software. So, should be well familiar with kernel internals.

Key Responsibilities

1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.

5. Design and Develop Audio device drivers on Windows

6. Actively involve in Audio subsystem Bug fixing and Enhancements.

Skill Requirements

Overall, 5 to 9 years of experience Hands on experience in the following

• Design and develop Windows/Linux device drivers with strong expertise in audio driver development, along with a fair understanding of DSP/Codec firmware interfaces.

• Very good in Kernel debugging and Kernel internals

• Very good in RTOS concepts and implementation of various kernel level synchronization mechanisms

• Very good in Embedded systems concepts and Embedded protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB)

• Well familiar with MCU (16bit or 32bit) programming, CPU (Intel/ARM) architecture and handling the architecture specific source code

• Thorough in handling the IO operations from the devices and memory management, in a real time environment

• Excellent programming skills in C and C++ languages

• Experience with debugging tools like Segger JLink, WinDBG/KGDB etc.

• Very strong technical aptitude with quick learning ability and excellent communication skills

• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
