Role Summary:

We are looking for a Solution Architect with strong Retail and Commerce domain expertise and hands-on experience in Generative AI (GenAI) to design scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions. The role demands deep understanding of omnichannel retail systems, e Commerce platforms, and AI-driven use cases to enable business transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end solution architecture for retail and commerce engagements, from presales to delivery.
Design scalable architectures for e Commerce, Omnichannel Retail, POS, Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, Promotions, and Supply Chain systems.
Lead GenAI-driven solution design, including use cases such as:

Personalized product recommendations
Conversational commerce (chatbots, virtual shopping assistants)
AI-driven search, merchandising, and demand forecasting
Automated content generation (product descriptions, marketing content)

Define architecture using cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-first approaches.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks aligned with business goals.
Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and best practices across projects.
Support presales activities including solutioning, estimations, proposals, and client presentations.
Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization standards.
Mentor development and engineering teams on architecture and design patterns.

Required Technical Skills:

Retail & Commerce Domain:

Omnichannel retail architecture
e Commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, or equivalent)
OMS, WMS, POS integrations
Customer data platforms (CDP), CRM integrations

GenAI & AI/ML

Hands-on experience with Generative AI models (LLMs)
Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or similar
Prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI orchestration patterns
AI governance, ethical AI, and data privacy considerations

Cloud & Architecture:

Cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / GCP (Azure preferred)
Microservices, event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs
Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Integration & Data:

Enterprise integration patterns
Streaming & messaging (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.)
Data platforms, analytics, and AI pipelines

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of IT experience with at least 3–5 years as a Solution Architect.
Proven track record delivering Retail / Commerce transformation programs.
Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage C-level and business stakeholders.

Good to Have:

TOGAF or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS Architect).
Experience with headless commerce and composable architecture.
Exposure to AI-driven personalization and recommendation engines.
Experience in large-scale retail migrations or modernization programs.

1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery

2. To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.

3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements

4. To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.

5. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated

6. To submit Whitepapers, participate in industry forums and file Patents
