About the role

Job Summary

Assessment of current Solar Winds deployment architecture and license utilization. \\r\\n• Planning and execution of migration to the latest i Observe embedded Solar Winds Hybrid \\r\\n Cloud Observability Advanced Enterprise Scale solution, including upgrade of the existing \\r\\nVMs to supported OS platform while working with different support group within \\r\\n Cummins, Backup and rollback strategy, Configuration and customization transfer, \\r\\n Validation and testing post-migration. \\r\\n• Coordination with OEM/vendor for license alignment and activation. \\r\\n• Documentation of migration steps and updated architecture. \\r\\n• Monitoring and alert management using Solar Winds modules. \\r\\n• Incident and problem management aligned with SLAs. \\r\\n• Regular health checks and performance tuning. \\r\\n• Patch management and version upgrades. Compliance reporting and audit support. \\r\\n• Provide Steady Support 8 Hours x 5 Days (Monday to Friday) except in case \\r\\nof P1 issue. .

Key Responsibilities

Take the lead on projects, such as upgrades or new deployments, and collaborate with other IT teams. Act as the final escalation point for complex issues that L1/L2 support teams cannot resolve. Install, configure, and maintain various Solar Winds modules, such as NPM (Network Performance Monitor), SAM (Server & Application Monitor), and NTA (Net Flow Traffic Analyzer). Develop and implement strategic goals for the Solar Winds environment, including designing advanced monitoring templates, alerts, and topologies. Planning and execution of migration to the latest i Observe embedded Solar Winds Hybrid Cloud Observability Advanced Enterprise Scale solution, including upgrade of the existing VMs to supported OS platform while working with different support group within Cummins, Backup and rollback strategy, Configuration and customization transfer, Validation and testing post-migration. Continuously monitor network performance and identify opportunities for improvements and optimizations. Integrate Solar Winds with other IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like Service Now and automate routine tasks using scripts.
