Job Summary
To play a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex technical solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the overall QA automation strategy across web, mobile, UI, and API testing
-
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using** Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript** and** Selenium with Java/Python**
-
Architect and guide API Automation solutions using tools/frameworks such as** Rest Assured** or similar
-
Lead the design of automation solutions for web applications,mobile applications, and enterprise platforms
-
Build and standardize frameworks for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
-
Drive cross-browser,cross-platform, and cross-device testing strategy to ensure consistent user experience
-
Design and oversee mobile automation frameworks using** Appium**
-
Establish reusable architecture components such as Page Object Model (POM), utility libraries, test data management, and reporting solutions
-
Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation
-
Define QA best practices, coding standards, review mechanisms, and governance models for automation teams
-
Collaborate with product owners, developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to define quality requirements and solution approaches
-
Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools for automation, reporting, test management, and device/cloud execution
-
Work with BDD tools such as Cucumber for behavior-driven test development
-
Use cloud-based testing platforms such as Browser Stack or Sauce Labs for scalable cross-browser and device validation
-
Mentor QA engineers, SDETs, and automation teams on framework design, tool adoption, and quality engineering maturity
-
Analyze defects and quality gaps, identify root causes, and drive preventive quality measures across the SDLC
Skill Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in QA Automation Architecture / Solution Architecture
-
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
-
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium
-
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
-
Strong experience in Web Automation and** UI Automation**
-
Strong understanding of API Automation
-
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured
-
Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation
-
Experience in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks from scratch
-
Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and other automation design patterns
-
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, request/response validation, authentication methods, and service validation
-
Experience with cross-browser testing,device testing, and browser/device compatibility testing
-
Experience in building hybrid automation solutions across web, mobile, and API
-
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
-
Strong understanding of automation design patterns, framework modularization, and maintainability principles
-
Familiarity with Git, version control, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA
-
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Other Requirements

Experience in defining organization-wide quality engineering standards

Exposure to test data management and service virtualization

Experience in mobile web and native app testing

Ability to drive automation transformation initiatives across multiple teams/projects
