About the role
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities L3 Operations & Technical Leadership • Act as primary escalation point (L3) for critical incidents (P1/P2) • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on performance, availability, and infrastructure issues • Lead RCA preparation and implement preventive measures • Coordinate with OEM vendors (Nutanix, VMware, Cisco, etc.) Nutanix & Virtualization Expertise • Manage and support Nutanix AHV environments • Administer Prism Central / Element • Perform LCM (Lifecycle Management) activities • Monitor cluster health using NCC tools • Support VMware environments Wintel & Infrastructure Management • Manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments • Active Directory administration (DNS, GPO, replication) • Patch & vulnerability management • Capacity planning and performance optimization Delivery & Project Execution • Lead infrastructure upgrades and migrations (P2V, V2V) • Support cloud migration initiatives (AWS/Azure exposure preferred) • Define maintenance windows and manage changes • Collaborate with project managers DR, Security & Compliance • Implement and support DR/BCP solutions • Participate in audits and compliance reviews • Ensure security best practices Technical Skills • Nutanix (AHV, Prism, LCM, NCC) • Windows Server Administration • VMware (v Sphere) • PowerShell scripting • Basic Linux, UCS, Storage, AWS (good to have) Soft Skills • Strong communication • Team leadership • Vendor coordination
